We document every install — as-built drawings, camera schedules, IP plans, and retention configuration — so audits and handovers don't depend on the memory of whoever did the wiring. Camera estates that record personal data are configured with PDPL-aligned retention and access controls.

Do I need SIRA or police approval for CCTV in the UAE?
It depends on the property type and emirate. Commercial premises in certain categories (retail, hospitality, banking) have mandatory surveillance requirements with specified camera coverage, retention periods, and registration. Residential villas generally don't require approval. We handle the compliance mapping as part of every commercial installation.
How long is CCTV footage stored, and can I view it remotely?
Retention is sized to your requirement — 30 days is the common commercial baseline, configurable up or down based on storage budget and any sector rules. All modern systems we install support secure remote viewing from phone and desktop, with role-based access so staff see only the cameras they're authorised for.
Can you add AI analytics to existing cameras?
Often yes — if your existing cameras produce decent-quality IP streams, we can layer AI analytics (people counting, intrusion detection, ANPR, behaviour alerts) on top via a server or cloud pipeline without replacing the cameras. Where cameras are analogue or low-resolution, we'll tell you honestly whether an upgrade is worth it first.
Do you integrate access control with time and attendance?
Yes — the same readers that control door entry can feed our AI time-and-attendance systems, so staff clock-in and physical access run on one device estate. This is one of the most cost-effective integrations we install: one reader, two functions, single audit trail.
What documentation do you provide after installation?
Full as-built documentation: camera schedules with coverage maps, IP address plans, cabling diagrams, rack layouts, recording and retention configuration, and admin credentials handover. Audits and future maintenance shouldn't depend on the installer's memory — everything is written down and handed over.

A cinema-home experience built into the pool lounge of a private Al Khatm farm. The challenging part wasn't the audio — it was the ceiling. Skyline engineered a custom motorised lift so the projector drops only for screenings and disappears flush into the slatted ceiling the rest of the time, keeping the pool deck visually pure.

Retail-grade surveillance across both sales floor and car park for a supermarket adjacent to ADMCC. The deployment had to survive 24/7 operation, long cable runs between indoor and outdoor lots, and a live-wall view that management could leave running all night without thermal or storage issues.
