Privacy Policy
Skyline Advanced Technology L.L.C S.P.C ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website skylineat.ae.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you fill out contact forms, subscribe to newsletters, or engage with our services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other information you choose to provide.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide services, send updates, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@skylineat.ae.

Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website, diagnose technical issues, and improve the experience over time. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.
Categories of cookies we use:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g. authentication for the admin and client portals). These are set automatically and cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate visitor statistics. These cookies are only set after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner that appears on your first visit.
What GA4 collects when consent is granted:
- Anonymised IP address (the last octet of your IP is dropped before storage)
- Pages you visit on skylineat.ae
- Device type, browser, screen resolution, and approximate geographic region
- Referring site, search query (when shared by the search engine), and campaign tags
What we do not collect: we do not collect your full IP address, name, email, or any other personally identifying data through analytics. GA4 data is aggregated and used only to understand usage patterns at the site level.
You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer at the bottom of any page on this site. Withdrawing consent stops GA4 from loading on subsequent page views. You can also delete existing analytics cookies via your browser settings (typically under Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data).
Aggregate Page-View Counting
To understand which content is most useful to visitors, we count anonymous page views on selected blog posts using a privacy-friendly technique that does not rely on cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not identify you individually.
Specifically, we generate a one-way cryptographic hash from your IP, your browser, the page slug, and the current date. We then check whether that hash already exists in our counts for the day — if it does, the visit is ignored (so refreshes do not inflate counts). If it is new, we record only the hash, the slug, and the date. The original IP is never stored, and the daily-rotating salt makes the hash useless for cross-day tracking.
This counting runs whether or not you accept GA4 cookies, because no personal data is stored. It is a legitimate-interest processing activity under UAE PDPL Article 5(g) (processing necessary for purposes that do not prejudice the data subject's rights).
Lead Magnet Downloads and Email
If you submit your email address to download one of our PDF guides ("lead magnets"), we store your email, optional name, optional company, the magnet you requested, and the referring page, in our PostgreSQL database hosted in the UAE. We send the download link to you via transactional email through Resend (a US-based email service provider operating under standard contractual clauses for international data transfers).
What we use this data for:
- Delivering the PDF you requested
- Notifying our team that a download occurred (a one-off notification email)
- Occasional follow-up if you ask a question by replying to the download email
What we do not do: we do not enrol your email in an automated marketing list, do not sell or share your email with third parties, and do not send unsolicited bulk email. If you wish your email removed from our database, send a request to contact@skylineat.ae and we will delete it within 30 days.
Contact Form and Quote Submissions
When you submit a contact form, request a quote, or apply for a position, we store the information you provide in our database to fulfil your request. We retain this data for as long as is reasonably necessary for the business purpose and to comply with UAE record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted.
Third Parties We Use
We rely on the following providers to operate the site. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments and applicable data protection law.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) — analytics, opt-in only
- Cloudinary (USA) — image and asset hosting
- Resend (USA) — transactional email delivery
- Hostinger (Cyprus / Lithuania) — email hosting and DNS
- Self-hosted infrastructure in the UAE — database, application, and PDF hosting
Your Rights under UAE PDPL
Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), you have the right to:
- Request information about what personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for processing that is consent-based (e.g. analytics cookies)
- Object to processing on legitimate-interest grounds
- Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights have been infringed
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@skylineat.ae. We respond within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (Google, Cloudinary, Resend) are located outside the UAE. For these transfers, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required under UAE PDPL to ensure your data continues to receive an adequate level of protection.
Data Security
We protect data through HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage at rest, role-based access controls on our admin systems, regular security updates to our infrastructure, and quarterly review of access logs. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you and the UAE Data Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by PDPL.
Updates to This Policy
We update this policy from time to time as our services and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email notification (if you have provided one). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
